More
Unarmed small tree; young branchlets angular, glabrous. Leaves phyllodic, apparently simple, 5-12 cm long, 1.5-3.0 mm wide (in our area), linear, with a single main longitudinal nerve, usually with an oblique slightly recurved point apically, a fairly conspicuous marginal gland situated a short distance above the base. Flowers in small round heads, arranged in short axillary racemes which are mostly aggregated terminally. Pods reddish-brown when mature, 7-10 x 0.8-1.0 cm, oblong, margins often irregularly constricted, valves thin, umbonate over the seeds, longitudinally dehiscent.
