Erect shrub 0.4–1 m tall. Branchlets pubescent. Stipules setaceous, 3–6 mm long, erect. Phyllodes somewhat crowded, ascending to erect, obtriangular, 10–20 mm long, 5–10 mm wide, laterally acuminate-pungent, coriaceous, pubescent to shortly pilose; midrib intersecting middle of the truncate or concave margin between gland and cusp. Inflorescences simple, 1 per axil; peduncles 9–13 mm long, recurved following anthesis, pubescent; heads globular, 15–20-flowered, pale yellow; bracteoles acuminate, narrow, exserted in buds. Sepals absent; petals 5, 1-nerved. Pods (1 dehisced valve seen) oblong, flat, 15 mm long, 6 mm wide, coriaceous, red-brown, longitudinally striate, puberulous-hirtellous. Seeds not seen.
