Shrub 0.5–1 m tall, low, spreading, dense. Branchlets flexuose towards apices, slightly ribbed, often sparsely antrorsely strigulose. Phyllodes sessile, decurrent, tortuous, terete, 8–16 cm long, 0.4–0.6 mm diam., with attenuate, often strongly curved apex, glabrous; nerves 8, distant, ±equal, raised; gland inconspicuous, c. 4 cm above base. Inflorescences simple, 2 or 3 per axil; peduncles 6–13 mm long, glabrous; heads obloid to short-cylindrical, 6–9 mm long, 3–4 mm diam., subdense, light golden. Flowers 4-merous; sepals united. Pods linear, twisted, to 8.5 cm long, 2 mm wide, chartaceous, glabrous. Seeds not seen.
