Characteristics

Slender, erect, annual herb, 25–30 mm high, stems minutely scabrous. Leaves glabrous, sessile; stipules reduced to interfoliar sheath, adnate to base of lamina; lamina narrowly ovate, 2.7–3.3 mm long, 0.4–0.6 mm wide, entire, subacute, glabrous. Inflorescence terminal; flowers ±crowded, shortly pedicellate to subsessile. Calyx 1.9–2.1 mm long, glabrous. Corolla 2–2.6 mm long, white; tube 1–1.4 mm long, glabrous; lobes papillose. Gynoecium c. 1.5 mm long; stigma subcapitate, with a medial groove. Capsule 2-horned, 1.8–2.5 mm long. Seeds smooth, 0.25–0.4 mm long; ventral surface with a longitudinal groove.
