Leaf-blades not scabrous, not punctate beneath, not lobed, ovate-elliptic, base broadly rounded or truncate, subpeltate, top rounded to obtuse, 3–6 by 2–4 cm., 3(–5)-nerved from base; margin entire; petiole 1–2 cm.. Gland at blade-base 1, at the transition of blade to petiole; blade-glands absent.. Stipules triangular, ± 1 mm.. Inflorescences few-flowered, arranged in fascicles axillary to normal leaves or tendrils, not in special inflorescence-bearing short-shoots; fascicles (2–)5–20-flowered in ♂, 1–8-flowered in ♀, without tendrils; sterile tendrils simple, 5–10 cm.. Male flowers campanulate, including the ± 1.5–2 mm. long stipe ± 10–11 mm.; hypanthium cup-shaped, ± 1.5 by 2–3.5 mm.; calyx-tube absent, sepals oblong-lanceolate, subobtuse, 6.5–9 mm., subentire; petals lanceolate, subacute, subentire, 5–8 mm., 3–5-nerved; filaments ± 4 mm., connate for ± 2 mm., inserted at the base of the hypanthium; anthers ± 3.5 mm., obtuse; septa ± 0.7 mm. high, corona membranous, ± 1 mm. high, with laciniate-emarginate edge; disk glands ± 0.5 mm.. Female flowers campanulate, including the ± 0.5 mm. long stipe 5–6 mm.; hypanthium broadly cup-shaped, ± 1 by 2 mm.; calyx-tube absent, sepals oblong-lanceolate, 4–5 mm.; petals ovate to oblong, subacute, 1.5–4 mm., 3(–5)-nerved, subentire; staminodes ± 2 mm.; gynophore ± 0.5 mm.; ovary subglobose, ± 2 mm.; styles connate for ± 0.5 mm., style-arms ± 1 mm.; stigmas ± reniform, papillate, each ± 1–1.5 mm. in diameter..
