Gland at blade-base single, situated at the base of a median spathulate appendage 1–3.5 mm.; blade-glands absent; marginal glands minute, 0–10 at either side of the blade.. Stipules reniform with crenulate-lacerate edge, 0.5–1.5 mm.. Inflorescences peduncled for 3–15 cm., lax, up to 30-flowered in ♂, 1–4-flowered in ♀, tendrils (0–)1 or 3, 0.5–2 cm.; sterile tendrils simple or 3-fid, 8–16 cm..
