Male flower 20–25 × 3–4 mm. (incl. 8–9 mm. long stipe); hypanthium 3–4 mm. wide; calyx-tube (with hypanthium) 8–9 × 3–4 mm.; calyx-lobes 4–5 × 3 mm., thin, ± obtuse at the apex, with reticulate nerves; petals 2–2·5 × 1·25–1·5 mm., ovate or broadly elliptic, very thin, apiculate or irregularly dentate at the apex, 1-nerved, inserted c. 6 mm. above the hypanthium-base; corona 0; stamen-filaments c. 5·5 mm. long, connate at the base into a tube c. 1–1·5 mm. long and inserted at the base of the hypanthium; anthers c. 2·5 × 1 mm., erect, obtuse and without apiculum at the apex; disk-glands c. 1 mm. long, spathulate, inserted c. 1·5 mm. above the base of the hypanthium; vestigial ovary c. 0·5 mm. long, on a gynophore c. 0·5 mm. long.

Leaf-lamina 2–5 × 2–5 cm., (3)5-lobed, broadly ovate to suborbicular in outline, cordate at the base, membranous, green on the superior surface, light green beneath, 3(5)-palmatinerved and with inconspicuous reticulation; lobes unlobed or shallowly 3-lobed, obtuse or rounded at the apex, entire-margined, ± deeply constricted at the base, the median up to 4 × 2 cm., the intermediate ones up to 2·5 × 1·5 cm., the basal ones up to 1 × 0·9 cm.; petiole 1–4 cm. long, canaliculate above.
