Characteristics

Leaf separate on fleshy petiole or clasping flower stem; lamina ovate, 15–35 × 10–16 mm, fleshy, dark green above, underside red-spotted. Flower stem 60–120 mm tall, fleshy, 1-flowered. Flower 15–20 × 20–30 mm, crystalline white, labellum white with prominent red bars, calli yellow, column with red bars. Dorsal sepal broadly elliptic, 12–16 × 7–8 mm, incurved and strongly hooding column, externally hairy. Lateral sepals lanceolate, 13–16 × 4–5 mm, widely divergent, margins hairy. Petals lanceolate, 10–14 × 3 mm, obliquely erect beside column, margins hairy. Labellum folded and ± curved in circle, 5.5–6.5 × 4–5 mm, 3-lobed; lateral lobes broad, held flat; mid-lobe narrow, curved, yellow. Calli clubbed, in dense yellow band to apex, flanked by smaller white sessile papillae. Column 5.5–6.5 × 3 mm, white with red bars and markings.
