Leaflets 3, narrowly elliptic to ovate-elliptic, 3·5–11·5 cm. long, 2–5·5 cm. wide, subacute at the apex, mostly rounded at the base, pubescent and minutely tuberculate above, glandular and densely to velvety pubescent beneath but the closely reticulate raised venation is not entirely obscured; petiole 1·5–5 cm. long; rhachis 0·5–1·6 cm. long; petiolules 3–6 mm. long; stipules soon deciduous.. Panicles branched, subsessile, terminal and axillary, up to 11 cm. long and 7 cm. wide, densely pubescent; pedicels 5–7 mm. long; bracts ovate, deciduous, 5–7 mm. long, 4–5 mm. wide; bracteoles linear, 2·5–8 mm. long, at length deciduous.. Calyx densely pubescent and glandular; tube 4–5 mm. long; lobes lanceolate, 5–8 mm. long, the upper pair completely or almost entirely joined..
