Flowers axillary, solitary, pedicels 3–5.5 mm long, glabrous or sparsely setulose; bracteoles 3 × 0.5–0.7 mm, narrowly lanceolate, acute, ciliate on the margins.
Standard orange-yellow, 7 × 4.5–5 mm, violin-shaped; wings and keel yellow, the petals of the latter not laciniate.
Fruit of 1–2 articles joined by a narrow neck; articles almost round, 4.2 × 4 mm, compressed, glabrous.
Calyx glabrous, 2-lipped; lips 3–5 × 2.5–3 mm, ovate, one rounded, the other shortly 3-fid.
Perennial prostrate herb with 2–4 stems 30–45 cm long from a woody rootstock.
Stems much-branched, densely covered with setiform hairs 1–1.5 mm long.
