Dwarf shrub. Leaves 6-9 mm long, alternate, crowded, ascending, linear, obtuse, rounded at base, concave above, with minute glands beneath, distinctly gibbous behind apex. Flowers in dense, terminal clusters, white; bracteoles 2. Sepals 2.0-2.5 mm long, linear-lanceolate. Petals 5-6 mm long; blade obovate, obtuse, concave above in upper half, often with a few long hairs; claw twice or almost twice as long, filiform, pilose except at base. Staminodes 5-6 mm long, narrowly linear in upper half, filiform in lower half, tipped with a rotund gland, pilose on middle part. Ovary pilose on apex, with 3 carpels with rotund glabrous processes; style glabrous. Flowering time all year.
Single-stemmed, leafy shrub to over 1 m, herb-scented. Flowers in dense heads, white. Fruits 3-chambered.
