Flowers in terminal clusters and in the axils of the uppermost reduced leaves. Peduncles 2-4 mm long, glabrous or sparsely pilose, with bracteoles at or shortly below the middle. Sepals 1.5-2 mm long, ovate-or oblong-lanceolate, obtuse, pilose-ciliate, convex beneath, conspicuously keeled down to the peduncle, sometimes scabrid and with short glandular hairs. Petals 4.5-5 mm long; blade obovate or elliptic, obtuse, concave above, sometimes almost cucullate at the apex; claw two thirds or almost as long, linear or subfiliform, ciliate. Stamens glabrous.
