Dwarf shrub, single-stemmed, up to 1.5 m high. Leaves 2-7 mm long, alternate, recurving, elliptic, ovate or rotund, mucronate or mucronulate; with distinctly thickened pale and eglandular hyaline margins, with an inconspicuous nerve and many scattered glands beneath. Flowers in terminal clusters, white; bracteoles absent. Sepals 1.0-1.5 mm ovate or oblong, obtuse or subacute, convex and glabrous or puberulous beneath, with a callus behind the apex. Petals 3.5-4.5 mm long. Staminodes 1.5-2.5 mm long, linear or oblong, concave and puberulous above, tipped with a conical gland. Ovary glabrous or puberulous, with 2 carpels with rotund processes; style glabrous. Flowering time May-Nov.
Single-stemmed, stiff, spreading shrublet to 1.5 m, turpentine-scented. Leaves recurving, with hyaline margins. Flowers in terminal clusters, white. Fruits 2-chambered.
