Dwarf shrub, up to 1.5 m high. Leaves usually 8-13 mm long, alternate, crowded, erect-spreading, linear or lanceolate-linear, with a slightly raised nerve and scattered glands beneath, glabrous, or sometimes pilose at margins and beneath on nerve. Flowers in terminal clusters, white; bracteoles 2, minute. Sepals 2-3 mm long, linear-lanceolate. Petals 4.5-5.5 mm long; claw as long or slightly longer than blade, very slender, pilose throughout or only on lower half. Staminodes 4.0-5.5 mm long, with a linear blade and slightly longer pilose claw. Ovary glabrous, 2-carpellate, with oblong, obtuse processes; style glabrous. Flowering time June-Nov.
Single-stemmed, smooth rounded shrub to 1.5 m, lemon-scented. Flowers in terminal clusters, white. Fruits 2-chambered.
