Leaves alternate; petiole 5–15 mm. long; lamina slightly fleshy, brownish to yellow-green, lanceolate to ovate-elliptic, 5–12 cm. long, 1.5–5 cm. wide, slightly acuminate to acute or obtuse at the apex, cuneate to rounded at the base, with 6–8 pairs of lateral nerves, the second–third ± strongly ascending..
