Characteristics

Perennial herb; stem trailing 0.3-0.6 m long; filiform and villous, hairs patent. Leaves: petioles 10-12 mm long; lamina 15 x 20 mm, glabrous above, sericeous below, 5-lobed. Stipules 6-7 x 3-4 mm, lobes truncate, 3-toothed on both sides. Inflorescence 50-100 mm long, simple or somewhat branched, bracteate. Flowers solitary in axils of bracts, 3 mm long, densely hairy outside; episepals 4, at least 1/2 length of sepals, lobes incised to 1/7-1/2 the length; sepals 0.50-0.75 mm long; hypanthium 1.25 mm long; stamens 4; style 1, stigma globose; carpel 1. Flowering time Dec.-Apr.
