Leaves petiolate, obtriangular in outline, flabellately 3–5-lobed, apically rounded to truncate-rounded, narrowly or broadly cuneate, broader than long, up to 3.5 cm. long and 4.5 cm. broad, silvery with white adpressed hairs beneath, more sparsely hairy and often darker green above; lobes rarely extending beyond 2/3 length of the lamina, often less than 1/3, all of subequal depth on any one leaf, very obtuse or rounded, 3–5(–11)-dentate; petiole up to 1 cm. long but usually less, thickly hairy..
