Characteristics

Planta 25-60 cm alta sat robusta-gracilis. Caulis 2-3 mm diam. leviter sulcafus solidus durus paniculato-ramosus paucifolialus. Folia chartacea inconspicue venosa aequaliter et dense dentato-serrata dentibus in setam vel spinulam brevem (c:a 1 mm longam) exeuntia; folia basalia rosulata 7-10 cm longa 1.5-4 cm lata obovata-oblongo-spathulata apice rotundata basi sensim in petiolum brevem vel longum latum attenuata; folia caulina plerumque parva amplectentia adpressa. Bracteae involucrales 5-10 ovatae obtusae, 5 majores 2-3 mm longae, minores 0.5-1.5 mm longae; sepala 0.2 mm longa; styli 0.4 mm longi.
