Species uncertain; recent genetic fingerprinting studies suggest a hybrid of A. stolonifera with A. alnifolia. Fruit up to 13 mm diam., obovate to nearly spherical, blue-black with bloom; typically 7-11 per cluster, cluster fairly open, fairly even ripening; flavor mild and bland; pH 4.1. Shrub to 1.5 m high; initially upright to spreading, 2.5 m spread at maturity; low to moderate suckering, crown expands slowly. Hardy to zone 2. Susceptible to powdery mildew.
