Characteristics

A coarse, ascending, lanate, densely divaricately t branched shrub. Branches and branchlets villous. Leaves spreading, generally patent, ovate-lanceolate, mucronate or mucronulate, 4.5-10.0 x 1.8-4.5 mm, cordate at the base and with margins strongly revolute; upper surface densely sericeous, lower villous. Inflorescences unifloral, hidden in the axils of leaves. Pedicel 0.5-0.9 mm. Bract lanceolate, acute, 1.5-2.2 x 0.3-0.5 mm, sericeous. Calyx 3.5-5.0 mm, canescent; calyx lobes subequal; upper lobes medially fused to 0.8-1.3 mm from their apices, lower lobes 1.8-2.5 mm; receptacular part 0.5-0.9 mm. Vexillum suborbicular, pale rose or whitish, 5.2-6.0 x 4.0-5.5 mm, auriculate; claw 1-8-2.3 mm. Ala blades pale rose or whitish, oblong, rounded, 4.2-4.6 x 1.6-1.9 mm; claws 2.5-3.0 mm. Carina blades purple on distal part, on other part pale rose or whitish, obliquely oblong, 3.8-4.2 x 1.6-1.8 mm, apically rounded, basically with a small spur; claws 2.7-3.0 mm. Stamens adnate to the receptacle for 0.5 0.9 mm, excluding this 5.0-6.2 mm, connate for the basal 3.0-3.5 mm; anthers 0.3-0.5 mm, alternately dorsifixed and nearly basifixed. Pistil 6.0-7.0 mm, uni-ovulate; ovary sericeous; style basally sericeous, distally glabrous. Pod obliquely oblong, 7.0-9.0 x 3.8-5.5 mm, acuminate, sericeous, 1-seeded; seeds 2.3-2.6 x 1.6-1.8 mm.
