Characteristics

Plant spreading or pendulous; young shoots and inflorescences brown-and white-tomentose or the indumentum sparse; epicortical runners absent. Leaves elliptic to ovate, attenuate and finally rounded; lamina 45-70 mm long, 20-55 mm wide, cordate at base, sessile. Inflorescence a pedunculate umbel of triads, the central flowers sessile, the laterals pedicellate; peduncle slender, 10-18 mm long; rays of umbel 3, 2.5-5 mm long, densely white-tomentose on upper surface; pedicels 1.5-2 mm long; bracts 1.5-2 mm long, acute or truncate. Calyx entire or slightly lobed, 0.5 mm long. Corolla in mature bud slender, 18-22 mm long, 5-merous, clavate, densely tomentose. Anthers 3 mm long, almost equal to free part of filament. Fruit not known.
