Characteristics

Leaves (0.5-)1-2 cm long and 1-1.5(-2) mm wide, (almost smooth-)acutely scabrid on upper side. Corymbophore (5-)8-18 cm long and (1-)1.5-2 mm in diameter. Corymb (1-)1.5-2.5(-3.5) cm wide. Peduncles 5-10(-15) mm long. Capitula 6-12-flowered. Involucral bracts (17-)20-30(-40). Outer bracts narrowly oblong-narrowly elliptic (-narrowly obovate), (3-)3.5-4.5 mm long and 1-2 mm wide. Middle bracts: claw (2-)2.5-3.5 mm long and 0.5-1 mm wide. Inner bracts: claw (2.5-)3-3.5 mm long and 0.5-1 mm wide. Female floret(s) 1(-2). Corolla 1.9-2.8 mm long. Pappus bristles (0.2-)0.3-1(-1.4) mm long. Achene 1.6-2(-2.2) mm long and 0.5-0.6(-0.8) mm wide when fully developed. Male florets (5-)6-10(-11). Corolla (2.2-)2.5-31(-3.4) mm long. Pappus bristles (1-)1.3-2.3(-2.8) mm long. Flowering period: The whole year, but mainly August-December.
