Erect or ascending, usually branched, hispid annual 2–6 dm; lvs narrowly oblong to oblanceolate, 4–8 cm, repand-dentate or entire; cor-tube 4–7 mm, distinctly bent, hardly surpassing the cal, the limb oblique, 4–6 mm, with unequal lobes; stamens inserted at or below the middle of the tube; nutlets obliquely ovoid, 1.5–2 × 3–4 mm; 2n=48. Native of Europe, intr. as a weed in waste places in our range; 2n=48. (Lycopsis a.)
