Characteristics

Herbs annual, with numerous fibrous roots. Leaf rosettes solitary, 2--8 cm in diam. Leaves basal; petiole ca. as long as to slightly longer than leaf blade; leaf blade elliptic to ovate-oblong, 6--25 X 5--12 mm, glabrous or sparsely glandular pubescent, base short attenuate, margin remotely denticulate, apex obtuse to acute. Scapes 3 to many, 2.5--15(--20) cm, glabrous or with sparse glandular hairs distally; umbels many flowered; bracts linear-lanceolate, ca. 2 mm. Pedicels unequal, filiform, 2--7 cm. Calyx cup-shaped, 2--2.5 mm, without veins, parted to middle; lobes triangular, glabrous or occasionally sparsely glandular pubescent, hyaline margined, apex acute. Corolla white, ca. 3 mm in diam.; lobes oblong. Fl. May. 2n = 18, 20.
