Characteristics

Herbs annual, small. Leaves basal; petiole 2--3 cm, spreading pubescent; leaf blade suborbicular to reniform, 4--7 mm wide, strigillose-villous, base cordate, 7--9-lobed to crenate-dentate. Scapes numerous, inconspicuous to 9 cm, sparsely pilose; umbels 2-or 3(--5)-flowered; bracts lanceolate to ovate-lanceolate, 1--2 mm, apex acute. Pedicel 0.3--2.5 cm, sparsely pubescent. Calyx campanulate, 2.5--3 mm, densely villous, spreading pubescent, parted to ± middle; lobes slightly spreading to reflexed in fruit, ovate to ovate-triangular, apex acute. Corolla white, ca. as long as to slightly longer than calyx, 2--2.5 mm in diam.; lobes oblong, ca. 1 X 0.5 mm.
