Characteristics

Column 1–1.8 mm long; anther cap pyriform, slightly papillose at the base; apex curved, triangular, acute; pollinia 2, stipites clavate, verrucose; viscidia 0.4 mm long, narrowly ellipsoidal, prolonged beyond rostellum apex; rostellum 3-lobed, recurved towards the stigma.

Lip porrect, c. 6 mm long, 3-lobed to c. 2 mm from the base; mid-lobe 3 × 0.6–1 mm, lanceolate, ± obtuse; side lobes 2.8 × 0.4–0.7 mm, lanceolate, ± obtuse, curving outwards; spur 15–18 mm long, slender, parallel to the ovary.
Inflorescences 1–3, arising from base of the plant; peduncle c. 16 cm long, slender, with 4 bracts c. 2 mm long; rhachis 4 cm long, densely c. 20-flowered.
Dorsal sepal 3 × 1.8 mm, ovate, obtuse; lateral sepals c. 9 × 1.5 mm, ligulate, obtuse, coiled in the apical part, adnate to petals at the base.
Leaves 3–5, distichous, 15–22 × 2.5–3.5 cm, ligulate, unequally and obtusely 2-lobed at the apex, undulate on the margins.
Roots slender, c. 2 mm in diameter, somewhat hairy.
Epiphytic herb, glabrous except for the roots.
Petals 3.5–5 × 1.5–3 mm, ovate, acute.
Pedicel and ovary curved, 15 mm long.
Bracts 1 mm long, lanceolate, acute.
