Perennial, up to 0.8 m tall; roots up to 3, fleshy, finger-like. Leaves dead or dying at flowering, ternately divided, glabrous, segments linear, flat or terete, bases persisting as papery fibres. Umbels on long, branched peduncles. Flowers unknown. Fruit 3 mm long, oblong, mericarps isodiametric, homomorphic, vittae present, rib oil ducts inconspicuous.
