Pods 1.2–3.8 × 0.8–1.9 cm, obovate, sparsely long-villous, glabrescent, each valve longitudinally and prominently 1-nerved, 1–2(3)-seeded.
Germination epigeal; first pair of leaves opposite, with 18–24 leaflets; subsequent leaves alternate, with more leaflets.
Large petal white, 5.5–7 × 3–6 mm, with a short claw and an obovate lamina;>i> other petals absent or minute.
Racemes 0.8–1.7 cm long, brownish-pubescent; bracteoles 4–5.5 × 2.5–4 mm, broadly elliptic.
Sepals 0–5, the two larger ones 0.3–1.9 × 0.2–0.8 mm, the others, if present, minute.
Young branchlets pubescent, glabrescent.
Seeds c.6–11 × 5–9 mm, obovate.
Tree 8–20 m high.
