Characteristics

Flower stem 300–700 mm tall, purple with white flecks, slender, fleshy, 6–12-flowered. Flowers 8–10 × 10–12 mm, white with mauve to purple markings, sometimes dull yellow. Pedicels and ovaries dark purple. Dorsal sepal 6–7 × 2 mm, erect, incurved. Lateral sepals 5–6 × 2 mm, curved, widely divergent. Petals 5–6 × 2 mm, obliquely erect or incurved. Labellum 5–6 × 2 mm, ± boat-shaped, base narrowed, 3-lobed; lateral lobes erect, entire, appearing inrolled, mauve to purple; midlobe projecting forwards, distal margins inrolled. Callus yellow, in a narrow basal depression.
