Characteristics

Rosette absent or on lateral growth; leaves 2–5, elliptic, 20–50 × 7–14 mm, dark green, apex acuminate. Flower stem 200–350 mm tall, 3–15-flowered. Flowers 9–13 mm long, pale green with short, thickly clubbed, dark reddish black labellum glands. Dorsal sepal 7–8.5 × 1–1.3 mm. Lateral sepals 6–7.5 × 1–1.3 mm. Petals 6.5–7.5 × 0.5 mm. Labellum stalk c. 4 mm long. Labellum lamina c. 4 × 1 mm, green with dark, purplish black basal blotch; free basal part of labellum c. 1.5 mm long. Callus c. 3 mm long; central area densely covered with short, dark, crowded, shiny, thickly clubbed calli 0.2–0.5 mm long; margins with shiny, dark reddish black calli; limb of callus c. 1 mm long, apex broadly notched, c. 1.4 mm wide, with shiny black warts.
