Characteristics

Large, robust shrub up to ±3 m tall. Leaflets 20-50 mm long, flattened, 0.5-1 mm broad, or those of uppermost leaves up to 2 mm broad; sparsely long-ciliate, with prominent midvein. Inflorescence a head surrounded by the uppermost leaves. Bract and bracteoles 22-26 x 2.5-3.5 mm and 20-23 x 1-1.5 mm respectively, more densely ciliate than leaflets of uppermost leaves. Calyx lobes 18-22 mm long, tapering, apically acuminate, green, sparsely hairy except for the ciliate margins. Standard blade 20-23 x ±18 mm, glabrous except basally. Wing blades narrow, 18-19 x ±8 mm. Keel somewhat rostrate] 14-16 mm long and 6.5-±7 mm broad. Pod ±10 x 3.5 mm.
