Scapes 12--20 cm tall, glabrous or sparsely pubescent. Flowers 1.3--1.6 cm in diam. Pedicel 5--8 mm. Sepals elliptic to obovate, 7--8 × 3--5 mm, glabrous. Fl. May--Jun, fr. Jun--Jul. 2n = 16*.
