Characteristics

Plants 5-10 cm tall. Stems 3-5 cm, prostrate, white or gray lanate with bifurcate hairs. Leaves 3-6 cm; stipules 4-5 mm, covered with ascending hairs; petiole 1-2.5 cm, like rachis densely white villous; leaflets in 9-13 pairs, 4-7 × 3-4 mm, both surfaces densely covered with ascending hairs. Racemes subsessile, capitate, ca. 1.5 cm, with densely villous peduncle 0.3-0.5(-1) cm; bracts 6-9 mm, spreading hairy. Calyx 9-10 mm, densely white villous; teeth 4-5 mm. Petals pink to pink-violet, glabrous; standard 10-11 mm, limb oblong, apex emar­ginate; wings 9-10.5 mm; keel 8-9.5 mm. Legumes with a stipe ca. 1 mm, narrowly oblong, 7-8 mm, ca. 3 mm high, with a short, oblique beak; valves densely white villous.
