Characteristics

Plants 20-40 cm tall, acaulescent or shortly caulescent, covered with white hairs 0.5-2 mm, at rachis and legumes up to 4 mm. Stems 1-5 cm, glabrous or spreading hairy. Leaves 10-40 cm; stipules whitish, 8-16 mm, adnate to petiole for 3-5 mm, glabrous or sparsely hairy, more rarely to densely hairy; petiole 4-10 cm, like rachis subglabrous or sparsely, more rarely densely covered with spreading unequal hairs 0.5-3(-4) mm; leaflets in 15-23 pairs, narrowly elliptic to narrowly ovate, 12-25 × 6-12 mm, abaxially sparsely to loosely, rarely to densely, appressed hairy, adaxially glabrous or to loosely ap­pressed hairy, apex rounded to subacute. Racemes loosely 5-12-flowered; peduncle 1.5-6 cm, sparsely to loosely spreading hairy; bracts 10-15 mm, hairy. Calyx 10-19 mm, glabrous or loosely spreading hairy; teeth 4-7 mm. Petals yellow; standard obovate, 23-26 × 8-10 mm, apex slightly emarginate; wings 20-23 mm; keel (16-)17-18 mm, limbs slightly obliquely ellip­tic, straightly stretched forward. Legumes with a stipe 1-3 mm, 15-27 mm, 6-8 mm high and 5-6 mm wide, with a slender beak 2-5 mm, 2-locular; valves glabrous or loosely to densely covered with spreading hairs.
