Characteristics

Tree to 15 (-40) m tall. Branchlets spreading, often ±distichous. Adult leaves loosely imbricate, spreading and ±incurved, oblong-lanceolate, 6-12 mm long, 1.5-2.5 mm wide, thick, acute or acuminate, slightly keeled. Male cones ovoid, c. 3 mm long and wide. Female cones globular, 1.5-2 cm diam.; fertile bract scales thick, broadly lanceolate, tapering to base.
