Characteristics

A tree. It grows 27 m high. Male and female flowers are on separate trees. The leaves are oval and 9-37 cm long by 3-18 cm wide. They have long leaf stalks. The leaves are a rusty brown colour underneath. Fruit are large and round. They are 2.5-4.0 cm across. The skin is dull brown. It is slightly rough with little brown spots. The pulp is white and lets light through when ripe.
