Baccaurea odoratissima Elmer

A small tree. It grows 15 m tall. The leaves are crowded at the ends of twigs. The leaves are alternate and simple. The flowers are 1.1 mm across. They are yellow. The fruit are about 12 mm long. They are orange red. They grown on the trunks. The seeds have a blue fleshy layer or aril.

Primary or secondary forests at elevations from sea level to 1,250 metres, occasionally to 1,500 metres.

Can be grown by seedlings.
