Branches nearly glabrous or pubescent towards the tips; leaves ovate, more or less lanceolate, acuminate, margins sinuate white-cartilaginous thickened, more or less spine-toothed; posticous sepal 0.5-0.6 by 0.17-0.2 in., elliptic-lanceolate; otherwise as B. pungens.
