Hirsute with tawny hair; branches 3-16 in. long; leaves subsessile, ovate or elliptic, entire, in the type-specimen 2.5 in. long, in other examples only half as large; flowers all in the upper axils, running into a terminal spike; posticous sepal 1 by 0.3 in., elliptic, acute, entire, hairy; corolla 1.5 in. in total iength; capsule 0.3 in. long, ellipsoid, compressed, shining, glabrous, 4-seeded.
