Leaf-lamina 1·5–8 × 1–7·5 cm., sagittate, 3-lobed, the lobes up to 5·5 × 3 cm., suborbicular, ovate or oblong, the middle one the largest, acute at the apex, margin serrate-dentate; petiole 0·1–4 cm. long.
Creeping or climbing perennial herb, up to 0.7(-2.5) m high. False stipules large, foliaceous. Leaves 3-lobed. Sepals 5.0-7.5 mm, not keeled. Petals present. Flowers yellow to greenish yellow.
