Leaves deltoid in outline, bipinnatisect, 3–10 cm long, 2–4 cm wide, segments linear-lanceolate, 1–3 mm wide, margins revolute with ± 2 rows of hairs or glabrous, densely gland-dotted; petiole to 5 mm long, winged.. Capitula terminal in lax cymes; peduncle to 6.5 cm long; involucre 5–9 mm long; outer phyllaries 8–10, sparsely hairy or glabrous, inner phyllaries 8–9, orange with yellow-green margins, pilose; paleae 5 mm long, striate.. Ray florets yellow or orange-yellow, neuter, 8, rays 9–15x4–6 mm; disc florets yellow, 3–3.5 mm long.. Achenes black, obovoid, 2–4.2 mm long, glabrous or pubescent, margins narrowly winged; pappus absent or with 2 antrorsely barbed aristae 1.5–2.5 mm long.
