Billardiera laxiflora (Benth.) E.M.Benn.

Slender climber, stems red-brown, corrugated.Seedling leaves apically trilobed, dentate, persisting and distinctive. Adult leaves petiolate; lamina almost linear, 8–20 mm long, 1–2 mm wide, margin recurving. Inflorescences umbellate; rachis to 10–12 mm long; basal leaf-like bract persisting; stalks 6–10 mm, slender, lax. Sepals 2–4.5 mm long, lobes unequal; mauve and green, visibly hairy. Petals 4–8 mm long, clawed, briefly cohering, outer margins recurving, apices recurving, white, tinged, spotted pink, mauve, particularly blade, darkening with age. Stamens free, filaments pale yellow tapering to a wider base; anthers white recurving; pollen yellow. Pistil with basal nectary; not stipitate, ovary to 11 mm long, silky hairy, ridged. Fruit berry-like with seeds in separate dry cells, 42 mm long, 7 mm diam., fusiform. 

Grows in remnant eucalypt woodland and tall forest, in littered grey sand and sandy clay on laterite.
