Planta acaulis, habitu fingulari in hoc genere. Folia radicalia fcapos aequantia; petiolis longiffimis pubefcentibus. Foliola magna onata obtufa bafi inaequalia inaequaliter argute denticulata hirta: extimo majore. Scapi dodrantales ftriati hirti. Spica ouato-oblonga compacta multiflora. Bracteae fubulatae nigro-pilofae calyce breuiores. Calyx nigro-pilofus; dentibus-fubulatis, infimo longiore. Corolla purpurafcens calyce paullo longior: vexillo alis, alisque carinâ paullo longioribus.
