Characteristics

Erect shrub to 1.5 m high. Branches stellate-tomentose. Stellate hairs with rays 0.1–0.5 mm long. Leaves 5–17-foliolate, 8–40 mm long, 7–25 mm wide; petiole 1–5 mm long; rachis segments 1.5–5 mm long; leaflets narrowly elliptic to elliptic, 3–13 mm long, 1–4 mm wide, revolute to recurved, acute; adaxial surface with few hairs; abaxial surface with a sparse to moderately dense layer of multiangular stellate hairs and a dense layer of smaller planar stellate hairs. Inflorescence 3–7-flowered; peduncle 1–30 mm long; pedicels 1–6 mm long. Perianth glabrous or abaxial surface with sparse to dense stellate indumentum. Sepals narrowly triangular, 2–5 mm long, 1–1.5 mm wide, acute. Petals 3–9 mm long, pink or occasionally white. Stamens: filaments pilose; anther apiculum absent. Cocci glabrous.
