Erect shrub to 1 m high. Branches eglandular, sparsely to densely puberulous. Leaves sessile, rarely petiolate, (1–) 3 (–5)-foliolate, 3–16 mm long, 3–15 mm wide, glabrous or puberulous; rachis segments 1–3 mm long; leaflets oblanceolate, 1.5–14 mm long, 0.5–5 mm wide, obtuse, with terminal leaflets longest. Pedicel 2–7 mm long. Sepals broadly ovate-deltate,  1–1.5 mm long, 0.5–0.75 mm wide, glabrous or ciliate. Petals 5–8 mm long, pink or white, caducous; abaxial surface glabrous. Filaments glabrous. Ovary glabrous or puberulous; stigma globular, much wider than style. Cocci puberulous.
