Characteristics

Erect, woody shrub to 3 m high. Branchlets not obviously glandular, puberulous to densely pilose; leaf bases usually decurrent. Leaves 3–9-foliolate, 3–22 mm long, 4–34 mm wide, glabrous to pilose; petiole and rachis segments 0.25–4 mm long; terminal leaflets linear or narrowly obovate or narrowly elliptic, semiterete to flat, 1–17 mm long, 0.5–4 mm wide, entire, discolorous. Inflorescences terminal and/or axillary, 1–10-flowered, with few hairs or sparsely to densely pilose; peduncles and pedicels 0.5–11 mm long. Sepals narrowly triangular to deltate, 1–5 mm long; abaxial surface glabrous to pilose. Petals 3–8 mm long, white to pink; abaxial surface glabrous to pubescent. Stamens: filaments pilose, glandular-verrucose towards apex; anthers not apiculate. Ovary glabrous to puberulous; style glabrous to pilose; stigma wider than style, sometimes concealing it.
