Characteristics

Erect or prostrate, woody shrub to 1 m high. Branchlets puberulous to pilose, not or slightly glandular-verrucose; decurrent leaf bases absent. Leaves sessile or subsessile, broadly obovate to almost circular or rarely obovate, 3–13 mm long, 1–15 mm wide, entire, glabrous or ciliate, if only proximally, concolorous. Inflorescences terminal or axillary, 1–3-flowered; peduncle 0–2 mm long; pedicels 1–3.5 mm long. Sepals elliptic to oblong, 2.5–4.5 mm long, glabrous or sparsely ciliate. Petals 5–8 mm long, glabrous, white to pink. Stamens: filaments glabrous, slightly glandular-verrucose towards apex; anthers not apiculate. Ovary and style glabrous; stigma minute.
