Characteristics

Branchlets ferruginous-pubescent, glabrescent. Leaves: petiole 10-25 mm long; lamina elliptic-oblong, 9-20 cm long, 2-6 cm wide, shiny green beneath, acuminate, acute or ±obtuse. Conflorescence open, 8-20 cm long, densely ferruginous-pubescent. Flowers creamy brown. Tepals c. 10 mm long, densely ferruginous-pubescent on outer surface, glabrous inside. Pedicels 4-6 mm long. Style c. 7-8 mm long. Seeds dappled cream and brown.
