Characteristics

Plants forming small, compact clumps. Pseudobulbs crowded, 4–8 × 3–5 mm, flattened, pale green. Leaves 15–40 × 3–4 mm, pale green, thin-textured, stiff. Racemes with thread-like stems 10–15 mm long, 2–4-flowered. Flowers bell-shaped, 4–5 × 6–7 mm, dark maroon to purple with darker stripes. Dorsal sepal hooded, 3–4 × 1–2 mm. Lateral sepals triangular, 3–4 × 2.5–3.5 mm, divergent. Petals incurved around column, 2–3 × 1–2 mm. Labellum c. 2.5 × 0.8 mm, thick, fleshy, blunt, curved, with numerous small, warty bumps on upper surface.
