Rhizomes thin, creeping, branched. Pseudobulbs widely spaced, 7–10 × 3–5 mm, somewhat flattened, deeply grooved. Leaves 10–25 × 8–12 mm, dark green, fleshy but tough, notched. Flower stems thread-like, 6–12 mm long, apex curved, 1-flowered. Flowers 5–7 × 6–8 mm, nodding, cream with red stripes or sometimes wholly reddish. Dorsal sepal 4–5 × 1.5–2.5 mm. Lateral sepals 4–5 × 1.5–2.5 mm. Petals 2–2.5 × 1–1.5 mm, with central red stripe. Labellum 2–2.5 × 0.7 mm, fleshy, shallowly curved, with deep central groove.
